With a previous background in graphic design, architecture and anthropology, I approach today's digital challenges with a diligent design process.
Each project begins with an understanding for the complexities of the problem at hand. I strive to find efficient solutions through a thoughtful, iterative design process. Previous clients have come from a wide range of sectors, including law, banking, lifestyle, sports, and travel.
The NBA app has been redesigned from the ground up to accomplish three main goals: 1. to provide a unified and seamlessly designed experience for the user across all devices; 2. to allow for a highly-personalized content for each user through selection of favorite teams, players and notifications; and 3. to provide natural entry points to NBA LEAGUE PASS and NBA TV premium streaming content throughout the app.
Founded in 2010, Flywheel has aligned itself with innovative technology, quality instructors and a competitive workout, while at the same time maintaining a welcoming environment. However, their app and website remained relatively the same during that time. With the indoor cycling space become increasingly competitive in recent years, the need for a modern digital experience has become an essential part of staying ahead of the pack. We focused on refining their website and app to both increase account creations from first time users, and enable people to make purchases simply and quickly.
PreK.com is an online platform for arranging daycare and preschool for kids from 6 weeks to 6 years old. As lead UX/UI designer, I helped align strategy to a cohesive experience for parents to search schools and books tours, as well as enroll and pay online. We also implemented a design system to help expedite development, and ensure visual and interactive consistency throughout the site.
Born out of an idea to map out cities based on their neighborhood's personalities, we built this functional prototype in ten days. What started as a challenge to understand the complexities of full stack development, this project also launched a question of how we see and explore cities today. Distrikts also asked how our travel goals have shifted from one of "collecting places," to one of seeking real connection with a city and the people within.
Through the NASCAR app, we looked to take advantage of the advanced real-time race data and enhance the way viewers experience a race. Functionality included live race leaderboards and highlights, exclusive news and videos, ability to listen to the official NASCAR radio, and integration of social feeds.
